Christmas Fashion Film Special Part 6

While I was researching my next post I came across a few fashion films by some of our much loved brands that where made for their Christmas campaigns and I thought that these would be perfect to share with you all as it is that time of year; so here I am writing Christmas Fashion Film specials that will be published over the Christmas period which should give you something great to read after you have eaten too much food.

You may have caught my earlier post, if not you can check it out here...http://nblo.gs/SkfCu

The sixth film that I am going to share with you is from Burberry.

This is such sweet little film, I love the pop up card scene that shows the outline of London. The presents falling from the sky like snowflakes and then we zoom in to see the silhouettes of the people who are having fun over the festive season.

What do you think of the film? Has this ever happened to you? I would love to hear your thoughts.

Christmas Fashion Film Special Part 5

While I was researching my next post I came across a few fashion films by some of our much loved brands that where made for their Christmas campaigns and I thought that these would be perfect to share with you all as it is that time of year; so here I am writing Christmas Fashion Film specials that will be published over the Christmas period which should give you something great to read after you have eaten too much food.

You may have caught my forth post from yesterday, if not then you can check it out here...http://nblo.gs/SjMmr

The fifth film that I am going to share with you is from Harvey Nichols.

I just had to share this film with you as I think that it is brilliant and something that all us girls experience one time in our life's. After spending hours getting ready for the party that you have been looking forward to, you walk in the room and you find that someone is wearing the same dress as you. This film shows what we would all like to do as we try to show that we are not horrified.

What do you think of the film? Has this ever happened to you? I would love to hear your thoughts.

Christmas Fashion Film Special Part 4

You may have caught part 3 earlier if not then you can check it out here...http://nblo.gs/Sjzdu

The forth film that I am going to share with you is by Armani Exchange.

This film is from a few Christmas's ago but I had to share this with you all as it brought back wonderful childhood memories of when I use to run outside when it was snowing and would spin around in circles looking up at the sky with the amazement of seeing the snowflakes.

What do you think of the film? I would love to hear your thoughts.

The third film that I am going to share with you is by Gucci.

I love the way this film is full of sparkle, it really gets me in the mood to party the new year in. The dresses that are featured in the film are beautiful and the colours are great which the backdrop of the fireworks.

What do you think of the film? I would love to hear your thoughts.

The second film that I am going to share with you is by Black Frame PR who made this film to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and features Hayley Coupon singing last Christmas.

I love this video as although is simple, I find it beautiful how they have projected images and vintage Hollywood films over Hayley's face and body while she sings one of the most Christmassy songs.

What do you think of the film? I would love to hear your thoughts.

Christmas Fashion Film Special Part 1

While I was researching my next post I came across a few fashion films by some of our much loved brands that where made for their Christmas campaigns and I thought that these would be perfect to share with you all as it is that time of year; so here I am writing Christmas Fashion Film specials that will be published over the Christmas period which should give you something great to read after you have eaten too much food.

First I am going to share with you one by V magazine that features Chanel Iman.

I love how they have taken a traditional piece of music and have made it modern by adding beats and base to create a fresh inspiring sound. The dancers have then been beautifully choreographed to these beats using forms of locking, popping and contempary dance to create shapes around the main focus which is of course the beautiful Chanel Iman.

What do you think of the film? I would love to hear your thoughts.

Photo a Day - Number 6 - Code Word - Tradition

Today’s code word is Tradition... and below is my photo, what do you think?

I am currently in Spain for Christmas and when I was walking in the hotel lobby I spotted this miniature nativity scene which I just thought was such a traditional piece of Christmas that I had to use this for today's photo.

Make sure you check back to see what tomorrow's code word is.

Be Flirtatious with GUESS Girl Belle

#2014bloggerchallenge

I am so excited to be sharing this with you all. The year is coming to a close and once again it has been an amazing year for blogbehindthelook.com and 2014 is going to be even better as I will be taking part in the #2014bloggerchallenge.

#2014bloggerchallenge is a concept that Gabby from another girly blog has come up with and what a brilliant concept it is. This challenge looks to bring my fellow peers together by challenging us to write 2 posts a month from a list of subjects provided. It will really challenge us to write about topics that we wouldn't normally talk about which is really exciting and the best thing is that 408 bloggers have signed up to participate in the challenge which means that there will be 408 points of view and different takes on the topics.

To see who else is participating in this challenge why not check another girly blog out to see.

I hope you are all are as excited as me and I look forward to hearing your thoughts on my posts.

Music Monday - I Want To Break Free

For today’s final instalment of the Movember Music Monday take over I am sharing with you a band whose front man is the icon of all icons in teams of embracing the moustache.

He is a man that shows every man how the moustache should be worn. For today’s video I have chosen Queen’s - I Want To Break Free.

I have chosen this video because it is fun and is a video that does take itself seriously even though the song is a big freedom of speech.

So here is the video! Check it out and let me know what you think…

I hope you have enjoyed today's video and don't forget to let me know what you think.

Guest Post by ReeRee - 4 Instant Ways to have Rockabilly Hair

Today marks a very exciting moment blogbehindthelook.com as I introduce our first guest post by ReeRee from rockalily.com. ReeRee will be sharing with us 4 Instant Ways to have Rockabilly Hair!

4 Instant Ways to have Rockabilly Hair by ReeRee

1. If you're wanting to inject some rockabilly style to your hair, hair flowers should definitely be your friend. Collect a variety and then you can mix and match according to your outfit.

2. Have a new fringe cut in. The Bettie Bang fringe (named after Bettie Page) is a classic look for rockabilly girls, and can make even a 'boring' ponytail look glamorous.  Can give you the feeling of new and exciting hair without having to chop all the rest of your hair shorter!

3. Experiment with curls. A vintage set created by rollers can be a fun way of having a more vintage look. I like to sleep in foam rollers, and then brush through with a soft brush to create an authentic looking curl.

4. If all else fails, wear a bandana of scarf! I'm nervous to count how many I own, but I do have an entire drawer dedicated to them, and they're organised by colour. It's the perfect disguise for a lazy hair day, or a failed updo!

Rockabilly loving and former librarian, ReeRee is the owner of London vintage hair salon, Rockalily Cuts. From here she writes her amazing blog, her column for a tattoo magazine and as if this wasn't enough she also runs a business group.

Music Monday - Walk.

Happy Movember Music Monday! Last week I shared with you that for the next 3 posts of Music Monday I would be choosing Music Videos by male artists that embrace the moustache and for today’s video I have chosen a band that I love and they are fronted by a man that truly embraces it in its full glory…

SCREEN SHOT OF VIDEO
By the above photo, I am guessing that you have guessed that today’s video is Walk by the Foo Fighters so turn them speakers up and rock out celebrating the moustache!
Enjoy!

I hope you have enjoyed today's video and please make sure you check back next week for the last Movember Music Monday!
