Winter in London

Back in November 2011, I had the chance to work with Ryan Handy. Ryan use natural light amazingly. Karla Powell did the make up on this shoot and as you can see from the photo's this is lush! We went around the streets of Marylebone and ended in Hyde Park to take this picture and although it was a very cold winter's day in London, the photo's turned out amazing as you can see.

Hope you enjoy looking at these photos.

Hot!!!

Hi all

I'm back again to share with you my shoot that I did for Idol Magazine. This was once again shot by Michael Furlonger and as you can see the photos really are hot! (Please excuse the pun)

The inspiration for this shoot was that it was a really hot day and the guys had been caught in the unbearable heat! They are sweating, water deprived and heat stroked.

Hope you enjoy the hotness!

Behind the Look - Frozen

In this post I going to tell you all about how the Frozen look was created.

The preparation for this shoot took weeks of planning. The fantastic photographer Michael Furlonger brought on new member of the team to create this vision. Bunny Allen and I were very excited about this as it brought on more ideas and styles which would take this editorial to its full potential.

In order to keep this looking new, Michael did not want us to be consumed by the concept. The main inspiration for this was the BBC TV program Frozen Planet. Below is one of my favourite parts of the series.

Our lighting/colour and shade inspiration was the vogue shoot below. This is an amazing shoot and really embodied what we were looking to achieve for our shoot.

In teams of clothing I found the amazing designer Ekaterina Kukhareva. Her AW11 collection was truly breathtaking. The opulence of this range was perfect for what we were trying to achieve. This shoot was then completed with the addition of Lulu Liu’s red fur coat. Lulu again is anamazing designer and I felt that Ekaterina and Lulu’s collections complemented each other.

Below are behind the scene images from the shoot.
