On Sunday I celebrated my birthday and it really got me
thinking about what I want to achieve in the coming year of my life. Since
starting this blog I have achieved some amazing things and I began to think
about how I can document my life in other ways. The things that happen to me,
my passion for things that I love, things that influence me after all this is
one of the reasons I started this blog!
I have heard people talk about the photo a day challenge and
I thought that this would be a brilliant addition to add to my portfolio of
documenting life events. On researching I came across a blog called Fat Mum Silm. Chantelle
the creator has come up with A photo a day challenge which I thought was a
brilliant idea and instantly wanted to join in with the rest of the world participating
in this challenge.
Every month Chantelle creates a list of daily prompts which
allows people around the world to take a daily photo and share it online using
the list as inspiration.
So this is my new challenge, each day I will post a photo on
instagram using the daily code word as inspiration. I will also share this on
my blog too but I will share with you my thoughts on why this word has allowed me
to create my photo.
Today’s code word is Space and below is my photo, what do
you think?
I was sat in my work’s new office this afternoon thinking
about what I could take a photo of and when I looked up I knew that I was
looking at it. Why does this meet the daily prompted word? Well sitting on the
ground floor and looking up to the 14th floor you get a sense of space. When this
teamed with these amazing glass lifts (American term is "elevator"
sorry I'm British) with lights around the doors for me creates a sci-fi feel
which also is connected to the word space.
