spotlight - london collections:men - jenny schwarz and orschel-read

As many of you may know this week is London Collections: Men and I was invited to PR Company Felicities presentation of London menswear designers Jenny Schwarz and Orschel-Read.

You may have read that I styled Jenny's look book so the whole team went to the event to show our support on this excited evening for Jenny. We had also shot the invitation image with features pieces by both designers so I was excited to see the rest of Orschel-Read’s collection.

The event was held at ME London hotel on the strand which was beautiful and below is a video of this amazing hotel, let me know what you think of it.

When walking in to the suite that was full of press, stylist and photographers, you were greeted by pieces from the collections in wardrobes, dress rooms and on the bed.

I don’t want to talk too much about Jenny’s collection as I will be talking about this in my ‘that’s the look’ feature but you can see images from the evening of her collection below.

Orschel-Read’s collection was very impressive, with panel detailing on suit jackets and the colours were rich for an autumn winter season. The collection was inspired by the golden era of pirate Radio and the British actor Bill Nighy's performance in the film 'The Boat that Rocked' and his looks influenced by the late 60s/early 70s British Rock 'n' Roll scene. My favourite pieces from the collection was the black and white coats, the fabric was beautiful and so soft.

I hope you have enjoyed my post. What do you think of the outfits?

Please stay tuned for a post all about Jenny Schwarz!
