Simplicity

Once again I worked with Michael Furlonger on the Simplicity shoot which was feature on Idol Magazine online. We wanted to create a female version of our simple shoot but drawing influence from our hot shoot. There is such a spring summer feeling to this shoot. Below are the finish photo’s, I hope you like them.

Girl behind the look update!

Hi All

I hope you are all well and have been enjoying the 2012 Olympics and the rubbish British summer!

I just wanted to give you some very exciting news!

Firstly I have finally finished my new website. The new one is a lot more sleek and easy to use. It also shows my work off a lot better than the previous one.

I have built up a pretty big portfolio now so I have had to be very selective over which images I have put on my site so you will only be able to see full shoots featured on my blog along with behind the look blogs as always so make sure you keep viewing.

Check out my new website and make sure you let me know what you all think.

In the next coming months I am working on some more shoots and one in particular with amazing photographer Michael Furlonger. I can’t tell you anything at the moment as it is all very top secret but I can tell you that this is going to be a massive shoot for us with lots of planning. We are very excited about this concept and it will be an amazing shoot if we manage to pull it off. More details will be published later this year beginning next so be do keep checking.

Lastly I just wanted to tell you that I have a profile on the behance website and earlier this year the canvas shoot got chosen to feature on Fashion Served website. This was a big shock for me but an honour and very exciting to be featured on this site. Below is an extract from the website explaining what Fashion Served is about.

Fashion Served features top work in categories such as styling and fashion photography. The Served curation team chooses projects that move creativity forward in their respective industries, among a host of other top-secret but not-that-difficult-to-guess selection criteria.”
Please make sure that you check it out as well as other features in this blog.

Canvas

Back in September 2011, Michael Furlonger, Bunny Allen and I had the chance to do an editorial for Fashion e-zine an online Italian fashion magazine. We were given the theme of art tech and our vision became 'Canvas'!

Drawing on themes of innocence and experience, 'Canvas' looks at androids as blank canvases and follows their exploration of human culture from birth to a bitter end. Their experimentation with clothes and make up takes them through different stages of our story culminating in the death of one at the thieving, jealous hand of the other.

This story is a celebration of colour and portrays fashion as Art; it shows the notion that our experiences are like coloured brushstrokes on a once blank Canvas.

I like mine.....raw!

My shoot that I did with the amazing photographer Marianne Paraskeva was featured in Factice magazine . The hair and make up was done by the very talented Bunny Allen and we had the chance to work with two models - James and Rebecca from d1 models. These guys were amazing and the chemistry between them definitely shows through the camera lens.

Below are the images from our editorial. I hope you like them!

I hope you have enjoyed my blog!
Please stay tuned in my next blog I will show you the behind the scenes of this shoot!

Simple

Once again the team were back together and this time we wanted a clean, perfect, minimal shoot which meant that stark simplicity was the aim.

This involved simple styling from myself, a clean well groomed model from Bunny Allen and perfect yet minimal images from Michael Furlonger. As you can see from the pictures below we achieved this.
