London Fashion Week started on Friday and the first designer to kick the season off was J.JS Lee showing her AW14 Collection which is entitled "Off-road lifestyle".
Here is the show video.
For her AW14 collection Jackie was inspired by Childhood holiday memories of camping in the forest and mountains. Something that is very visible when looking at the colour palette that has been used, colours that I think are beautiful for the winter season.

For me this collection, makes a beautiful addition to any womans working wardrobe. The feel is very feminine but with a strong edginess. Princess style tailoring, oversized knitwear were styled over or with more fitted trousers and A-Line skirts.

The fabrications of this collection cemented the inspiration by using British Heritage wools and tonal brushed mohair tartans teamed with jersey and melton wools. The graphic prints which at first looked like giant houndstooth is actually inspired by car tyres.
