Fashion Film Friday - Parisian Promenade - Moynat

Happy Friday Everyone!

Today I am sharing with you this beautiful film that features blogger Jeanne Damas and the amazing back drop of Paris as she explores the history of the heritage label Moynat.

Entitled Parisian Promenade and directed by Mary Clerté, it explores the legacy of French trunk-makers and leather goods specialist Moynat and features the delicate sketches of the Belle Époque and music of Valleys.

The sketches are inspired by the original Art Deco drawings of Henri Rapin, the one time art director whose iconic red leather and brass studded luggage made the brand popular in the early part of the 20th Century. The brand has been setting standards since 1849, when the inception of the only female trunk-maker in Paris and founder Pauline Moynat joined forces with the skilled craftsmen of the Coulembier family.

FILM VIA FASHION TUBE

I love this film; it adds a really dreamy feel and shows how these pieces can easy be adapted in to your life. You can really see the craftsmanship that has one into these pieces. My favourite piece is the bag that attaches on to the bike as this would make any cycling fashionista stylish. I also love the music as it really sets the seen as you follow Jeanne Damas around.
